Wrap With Love

BLIA Victoria registered Wrap With Love Australia for warm wraps knitting drive to ward off hypothermia around the world on August 4th, 2015. At the same time signed up to become Drop-Off-Depots for Wrap With Love.

A completed wrap (blanket) is made out of 28 squares, across of 4 squares and down of 7 squares. Our volunteers from three Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temples managed to produce 23 wraps, and over 720 squares in 10 weeks knitting drive. There were roughly 25 volunteers participated and the age of volunteers range from 7 to 90 years old.

Our current goal is to complete 90 blankets by August 2016 to be handed over to Wraps With Love.

Next kitting drive: Saturday, 16 April 2016 2.30pm at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery
